Love should be anything but boring, and Chrissy Biamonte knows exactly how to keep the spark alive! As the heart and mind behind Bold & Bubbly, she’s on a mission to help couples and friends create unforgettable moments together. With over 15 years in the health and fitness industry, Chrissy understands the importance of strong connections—both emotionally and physically.

In this exclusive interview, Chrissy answers our questions about the inspiration behind Bold & Bubbly, her thoughts on modern relationships, and her top tips for keeping love fresh and fun. We previously explored Bold & Bubbly’s fresh take on love and connection, and now, Chrissy shares her insights with our social reporter Tara on what makes relationships thrive.

Tara: Your journey from a health and fitness background to creating Bold & Bubbly is inspiring. How did your previous experiences influence your approach to helping couples strengthen their relationships?

Chrissy : Like health and fitness, it’s the little things repeated day in and day out that make the biggest difference. My background in health and fitness taught me that consistency, intentional effort, and small daily habits create lasting change. The same principles apply to relationships. Just like building strength requires regular workouts and nourishing your body with the right foods, building a strong relationship requires consistent moments of connection, thoughtful gestures, and meaningful conversations.

With Bold & Bubbly, I wanted to take that mindset and apply it to helping couples. Grand gestures are great, but it’s the simple, everyday actions…like laughing together, sharing a new experience, or taking a few moments to simply check in. It’s those things that truly strengthen a relationship over time.

I believe that just as people need structure and guidance to stay on track with their health goals, couples can benefit from a little inspiration and encouragement to keep their relationship fun, engaging, and full of love. That’s what I aim to provide through Bold & Bubbly…creative ways to nurture connections, not through big gestures but through one small but meaningful moment at a time.

Tara: With the rise of trends like “micro-mance,” where small gestures are valued over grand romantic acts, how do you see this influencing modern relationships?

Chrissy : I think this shift is making relationships feel more sustainable. Rather than feeling pressured to plan extravagant dates or expensive surprises, couples are embracing the idea that it’s the little things that have the biggest impact.

Tara: In today’s fast-paced world, many couples struggle to find quality time together. What are some practical strategies you recommend for maintaining connection amidst busy schedules?

Chrissy :  Great question! Just like with health and fitness, building and maintaining a strong relationship isn’t about finding huge amounts of time…it’s about being intentional and creative with the time you do have. That’s why I love mini dates so much! In just 10 minutes, they provide a meaningful way to connect.

Other simple ways to strengthen your relationship:

Send a thoughtful text:  Set a reminder to send your partner a quick message like, ‘Thinking of you.’ A small gesture like this can go a long way.

Schedule a check-in: Just like scheduling a workout or meeting, set aside 5 to 10 minutes to check in with your partner. Even a short conversation can help you stay connected.

Express gratitude: This is an important one. Life gets busy, but taking a moment to say, ‘Thank you for…’ or ‘I really appreciate when you…’ helps your partner feel valued and keeps the focus on the positive.

Tara: The concept of “intentional dating,” where individuals date with clear purpose and authenticity, is gaining traction. How can couples apply this mindset to deepen their existing relationships?

Chrissy :  I believe that success in any area of life comes down to being intentional.

Whether you’re dating or have been together for years, adopting this mindset can help deepen your connection and strengthen your relationship.

Being intentional in a relationship means actively nurturing it. It means communicating openly about your needs, setting goals together, and consistently showing love through small gestures like sweet messages or acts of service.

Relationships thrive when we don’t take them for granted. I love the expression “the grass is always greener where you water it”. By being intentional, you can stay focused on growth, connection, and authenticity.

Tara: As someone who provides resources for date nights and relationship building, what are some common misconceptions couples have about maintaining romance, and how do you address them through Bold & Bubbly?

Chrissy :  Here are 3 common misconceptions:

Romance Has to Be Expensive – Many couples believe romance requires fancy dinners, extravagant gifts, or luxury vacations. But in reality, some of the most meaningful moments come from the simplest gestures. Things like a handwritten note, a quick shoulder massage, or a cozy movie night at home.

At Bold & Bubbly, I share creative and heartfelt date ideas that don’t require a big budget, proving that romance is about connection, not cost.

It’s Normal for the Spark to Fade Over Time – This misconception ties back to the idea of intentional dating. When both partners make a conscious effort to nurture their relationship, the spark doesn’t just fade…it keeps sparkling and growing for years.

Through Bold & Bubbly, I encourage couples to connect daily in small ways, continue dating each other, and set relationship goals that keep their connection strong.

You Need a Lot of Time to Connect – With busy schedules and never-ending to-do lists, many couples feel like they don’t have time for romance. But connection isn’t about finding large chunks of uninterrupted time…it’s about making the most of the time you do have.

That’s why on Bold & Bubbly I offer mini dates, text ideas, and conversation starters. These are simple yet powerful ways to keep the romance alive, no matter how packed your day is.
